73 year old chimpanzee named Little Mama, living in a national park Lion Country Safari in Loksahatchi, is the oldest representative of this species living in captivity. Although the documents in the national park is not kept, but it is believed that Little Mother appeared there in 1967, and before that served as part of a circus troupe Ice Capades. Recently visited a chimpanzee veterinarians – animal removed the loose and damaged teeth, and sewed up a few wounds on the back. The wounds, apparently, she has received from the aggressive male-counterparts. Floating elephants, such as sixty Rajan, were once common phenomenon in the Andaman Islands, south of India, but today this giant elephant weighing five tons – the last of its kind. According to Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, orangutans were illegally smuggled from the Malaysian woods. They stayed in dark cages and were trained for the show. Some people say these animals were abused. It’s important to understand that orangutans are endangered. Wild species can be found only in Malaysia and Indonesia rainforests.

Siberian Huskies are strong, compact, working sled dogs. The large snow shoe feet have hair between the toes to help keep them warm and for gripping on ice. Dewclaws are sometimes removed. Headed turtle Rodeo and Zico went back into the ocean after spending four months in the center of the protection of the marine fauna of Loggerhead Marinelife Center,where they removed swallowed fishing hooks.Both turtles brought to the center jutting out of the mouths of scraps of fishing line. After doctors removed the animals swallowed fishing hooks,turtles received supportive therapy,they were given antibiotics to prevent inflammation,pain and course of vitamins.Turtles,and Zico and Rodeo,too young,so that experts could not determine their sex.They set up beacons to keep track of their whereabouts.At Zico and Rodeo more likely to survive than had Andre,tortoises,which released the August and who died three weeks later.Andre came to the center in June 2010 with severe injuries,after breaking the shell and inflammation.

As a life long owner of longhaired dogs I have spent thousands, maybe even millions of hours working with dog hair. Washing, brushing, conditioning, detangling, de-matting, trimming, vacuuming and sweeping it, but I can’t even imagine how much extra time must devoted to creating and maintaining these fancy, outlandish, and sometimes just plain odd hairstyles!
